> The typography is important they are designed to portray the genre of the horror film.
> The production companies commonly use fonts such as new roman or impact which when colour is applied the typography becomes more effective.
> The title of a possession film should look distorted however the audience must be able to read the titles and so the typography must be chosen effectively in order for he open sequence to work.
> Fonts are either 'serif' or 'sans-serif', I personally think that the serif fonts are more effective compared to the sans-serif as sans-serif fonts tend to be more modern and the serif fonts are more established and have a distinctive style which is key for creating a unique selling point in the horror film.
