Deconstruction of Typography

The Orphan- the font is in the style of a child's writing as it messy and immature, the colour is colourful and there is finger and hand prints of the same colour going over the text portraying the children who are the victims in the film.






The Conjuring- the title has a simple font yet the colour is yellow and bold on a black background which stands out showing the importance of the title and how it will affect the audience.

Sinister- the title is in capital letters and has a  grey/black colour showing the darkness of the plot of the film, the letter then fade at the bottom that is representing blood of the scratches on the walls from the possessed characters.

Saw- the font is distorted and has brown/black colour to it, the W looks to be portraying the shape of a fork showing the danger and sinister effects in the title. The two decayed fingers symbolise that it is the second film.

The Rite- instead of a T in the title there is a cross showing that the horror film has religious conventions

The ring- the font is simple and the font colour is white yet is it effective because the title is inside the circle representing the ring.
