Prop making tutorial for a diary

Step1- Find a rustic looking book and rip the pages inside.

Step 2- Using a sharp knife, on the front cover create claw like scars.

 Step 3- Find old pages of writing that could be used for the diary entries.

 Step 4- make them old looking by putting tea/coffee on them to make them look more antique.

 Step 5- search for old family portraits and print them out in black and white.

 Step 6-  using black ink, make ink marks across the paper

 Step 7-  burn the edges of the paper to make it look more scruffy

                                                           
 Step 8-  next make burn marks on the front cover to make it look more battered and fallen apart

 Step 9- to add more effect, spread pepper or flour to represent dust
