Filming Evaluation

Filming Evaluation:

Successes:
Things that went well was that the group was well organised in the run-up to filming as we planned well in advance, certifying dates, times and how we would get to the location. Each of us had specific jobs before we started filming which were done to a high standard, the making of the pick axe and finding of the location worked well in our favour.  Because it was an impossibility for all four of us to do filming on the same days, three of us went to film during the end of December whilst one of the group members began work on our sound and music.

Failures:
Our first day of filming was non-productive because our first three locations did not meet our requirements. Our first location had been turned into a housing estate, the second and third were both not appropriate for our genre as we felt that we could find a better location.
As part of our improvements for our filming we would need to revisit our location to take some final shots as we didn't shoot all our filming within one day. We will also need to go back to the location because it is required that all members of our group take part in filming

This was our location for filming. It's was at Bedgbury Manor in Cranbrook. It was a fifteenth century building used by monarchs and it currently under construction to be regenerated which made it an effective location as a common convention of horror is aged buildings that look abandoned.
